It was a big weekend for us at the Property Council Industry Awards!
We are thrilled to have taken out the Best in Category Award for the Warren and Mahoney Civic, Health and Arts Property category and an Excellence Award for Sustainability.
Here’s what Chief Judge Andy Evans had to say about Youth Hub Christchurch:
“A good building should be designed around the people who use it. What we are seeing here is that this carefully and thoughtfully crafted space has all the required elements to make the Hub a hardworking and fit-for purpose space to address the needs of the youth that it serves.
"The Hub is a home for its residents. It’s a place to learn, to talk to people, to make connections and to build community.
"The research shows us that many of our youth are struggling. Projects like the Youth Hub are going a long way to help our rangatahi to get back on their feet as they re-establish themselves and rise to their full potential.”
