Blessing for the new Events Centre!

Today we blessed our newest addition to the growing Youth Hub Christchurch campus – our Events Centre!

A huge thank you to our major funding partners who helped make this space possible: Christchurch City Council, the Rātā Foundation, the Maurice Carter Charitable Trust, the J I Urquhart Family Trust, and the New Zealand Lottery Grants Board. 

We’re incredibly grateful for your belief in creating spaces where young people can connect, belong and thrive.

We were also privileged to have the Mayor Phil Mauger and Minister for Mental Health Matt Doocey join us, along with many councillors, MPs, youth organisations, funders, suppliers and members of the build team who have backed the Youth Hub journey.

Our new Events Centre will provide an affordable central city space for young people to express themselves through music, dance, drama, performance and more.

This is another exciting milestone for Youth Hub Christchurch – and we’re only halfway there!
