New Zealand netballer Jane Watson announced as ambassador for Youth Hub

We’re delighted to announce that Christchurch-based New Zealand netballer Jane Watson has agreed to be an Ambassador for the Youth Hub. Jane says she decided to be an Ambassador because she believes the Youth Hub will make a real difference in supporting Christchurch’s young people.

“I love the fact that young people will be in a safe environment and able to have fun and have the chance to learn so many things,” Jane says.

“The Hub will give our young people a place to belong and a place where they can meet others and feel safe. It will offer many opportunities for them to grow and develop real life skills or just be a place to hang out with new friends.

“We need to ensure that everyone is able to get the help that they need. I think the Youth Hub is an awesome start to doing that, especially the housing that will be offered and the practical experiences that they will get will help them stay on a good path and feel supported.”
